Excentrik is a Palestinian-American producer, composer and mc from San Francisco, CA. The Narcicyst is an Iraqi-Canadian journalist and mc. Their song "Piece Dies" is inspired by "every instance of oppression that surrounds us. The randomness of it, it's uncertain nature, the undetermined perpetrators of it and the actual perpetrators of it. A 'piece' has a dual meaning here: It is the peace that we long for (at least peace of mind and peaceful existence). However, it is as well the 'piece of the pie' that seems so elusive for our communities globally; the missing piece of the puzzle that keeps us from truly self determining our future within our own terms. اکسنتريک يک تهيه کننده، آهنگساز و برنامه-گردان فلسطيني-آمريکايي از سان فرانسيسکو ميباشد. نارسيسيست يک روزنامه نگار و برنامه گردان “هيپ هاپ” از مونترال کانادا است. الهام ترانهٔ “پيس دايز” هر نمونهٔ ستم است که ما را احاطه کرده، سير بي هدف آن، طبيعت نا مشخص آن، عاملين مجهول و شناسايي شدهٔ آن. واژهٔ “پيس” معني دوگانه دارد: يکي از معاني آن صلح هست، صلحي است که همهٔ ما آرزويش را داريم، دست کم آرامش ذهن و يک زندگي بي دغدغه. معني ديگر آن “برش” يا “تکه” از شيريني است که سهم ماست. قطعه اي که به نظر ميايد براي جوامع دنيا بسيار فرّار و دست نيافتني است. قطعهٔ گمشدهٔ معمائي که ما را از تصميم گيري براي آينده خودمان با روشي که ميخواهيم باز ميدارد. “پيس دا يز” تنها يک عکس العمل نيست، يک بيانيه و يک فرياد است براي يگانگي و مقاومت، چه در فلسطين، چه در عراق چه در ايران. اين يک کشمکش جهانيست و ما همه روي يک کره زندگي ميکنيم.‏
